Four-tire security measures at Shaheed Minar on February 21

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has planned to ensure tight security measures in and around the Central Shaheed Minar on February 21 to observe international mother language day peacefully.
DMP commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia unveiled the plan to the journalists on Monday.
Tight security measures have been taken for all programs centering the day in capital, says Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia.
A total of 8,000 members of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) will be deployed in the capital, the DNP boss added.
Shaheed Minar altars, outside of Shaheed Minar, Doyel Chattar-Shabag-Palashi-Bakshibazar centric and outside of this area—these four tire security measure will be taken.
