3 killed in Keraniganj road crash

Three people, including an auto-rickshaw driver, were killed in a road accident at South Keraniganj early Saturday.
The accident took place when a Postagola-bound truck hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw coming from opposite direction around2:00am, leaving two people dead on the spot and another injured, said Monirul Islam, officer-in-charge of South Keraniganj Police Station.
Later, the injured succumbed to his injuries on the way to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Among the deceased, two were passengers of the auto-rickshaw and its driver, the OC added.
The victims, aged between 25 and 40, could not be identified yet.
